Lauren EelesA warm and down to earth Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working with individuals (adults and adolescents), families and couples to help them overcome emotional pain that prevents them from living a fulfilling life.
Lauren works hard to understand the patterns underlying many of the problematic symptoms that clients bring to counselling and helps clients to explore and practice more adaptive ways of meeting their needs, which helps to reduce the distress caused by those symptoms. Lauren uses a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and schema therapy approaches, depending on the individual client’s needs. She believes in working collaboratively with clients to understand what is contributing to and maintaining their difficulties and is passionate about supporting clients to identify and build on their strengths and virtues to bring about effective change. Robert ChatfieldRobert is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and full member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). He is a qualified secondary teacher and has completed a Graduate Diploma in Child and Adolescent Psychology as well as a Masters and PhD in Cognitive Developmental Psychology at The University of Melbourne.
Robert has over 20 years of experience in a range of settings including Medical Clinics, Secondary Schools, Youth Welfare Organisations, Universities and Businesses (both Local and Global). He employs a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
